JAMB BEST CANDIDATES FOR 2020

The Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB) has published the names of candidates that performed best in the 2020 JAMB/UTME exam. The list contains names and other information about the top ten candidates, based on their JAMB score. Based on the list, the 10 candidates scored between 352 and 365 in their UTME. Two candidates from Anambra State took the first and second positions, with scores of 365 and 363, respectively, while the third candidate is from Edo State with a score of 359. JAMB OFFICIAL CUT OFF MARK FOR 2020/2021 SESSION

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, on Tuesday, approved 160 and above as the 2020 national minimum cut-off mark for admission into public universities. JAMB reached the decision at the 20th Policy Meeting on Admissions to Tertiary Institutions in Nigeria which held in Abuja. JAMB registrar who disclosed this on Tuesday as part of the outcome of the 2020 policy on admissions to tertiary institutions which was held virtually said polytechnics cut off marks still remain 120 above, while Colleges of Education remains 100. The board also approved 140 as the minimum UTME score for admission into private universities.
