JAMB NOW SETS NEW EXAM QUESTIONS PER SESSION OF EXAMS

The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has disclosed that it has put a new innovation in place that will enable it to deploy or set new exam questions for each session (morning, afternoon, evening) of the exam and for all the batches of candidates writing the JAMB exam on a particular day.
This was made known by the JAMB’s spokesman man, Dr Fabian Benjamin. He explained that prior to 2017, JAMB can only deploy examination questions once in a day and that means that in situations where an examination centre has three batches of candidates (morning, afternoon and evening batches) writing the examination in one day, the board had to set the same questions for all the candidates writing the examination for that particular day.

He however stated that will no longer be the case as the board have put in place a technology that will enable it deploy new questions for each batch of candidates sitting for the exam for each day.

So that means that the questions that will be set for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd batches of candidates for each day will be totally different questions.

According to him, if we have three sessions or batches, we will deploy three times; this new innovation will ensure that even the person at the examination centre cannot compromise the sanctity of the examination by leaking the questions.
