The Federal Government of Nigeria has postponed the Secondary school certificate examination organized by the West African Examination Council (WAEC) and National Examination Council (NECO) indefinitely because of the corona virus pandemic. The Minister of state for education, Emeka Nwajubu announced this during a press conference monitored by Channels TV. "WAEC and NECO has been postponed indefinitely" he said They are working on how to educate students while they're at home but the major challenge is students who don't have access to mobile devices, he said they're working with radio stations to instil some for the students.

"Candidates who have been offered PROVISIONAL ADMISSION BUT ARE YET TO ACCEPT the admission are to immediately accept such offers free by using the CAPS Mobile App downloaded from the Google Play Store. Candidates do not need to visit any CBT centre or cybercafe as doing so would be a violation of the presidential directive on work from home/stay-at-home order. Candidates should note that failure to accept such offers of admissions on the CAPS platform would result in forfeiture of the admission." The only way to access your JAMB result is by using the original result slip portal which you have to pay a token to access. This is to inform you that the portal for printing original JAMB result has just been enabled. You can now print your original jamb result slip on your Jamb Portal. Sincerely, the reason why some candidate do have low score in UTME could not necessarily be traced to poor preparation but the trickery nature of UTME questions. So, all candidate preparing for the forthcoming UTME should know and work towards the following secrets; 1. Not all questions have correct answers: Since UTME is an objective Examination, JAMB Examiners do intentionally put some questions without any correct options to penalize the gamblers. 2. Beware of conversion and it's error. E.g 100cm is 1m but 100cm² is 0.01m². UTME do intentionally create this problem for it candidates using this tricks especially in Physics and Mathematics. 3. Getting one of the answers included in the options as your final answer doesn't mean you've gotten the right answer. Please check very well. The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has disclosed that it has put a new innovation in place that will enable it to deploy or set new exam questions for each session (morning, afternoon, evening) of the exam and for all the batches of candidates writing the JAMB exam on a particular day. This was made known by the JAMB’s spokesman man, Dr Fabian Benjamin. He explained that prior to 2017, JAMB can only deploy examination questions once in a day and that means that in situations where an examination centre has three batches of candidates (morning, afternoon and evening batches) writing the examination in one day, the board had to set the same questions for all the candidates writing the examination for that particular day.
